The Request Store Retail Demand Management as Bulk outbound asynchronous service operation sends the basic identification data of one or many stores to an external system.

The data are sent from store records held in an SAP ERP back-end system. The external system is usually an SAP Retail Demand Management system but the outbound message is suitable for any external system that needs basic information about stores.

This service operation processes the StoreRetailDemandManagementBulkRequest message type. The message includes basic store data such as the following.

• An internal identifier of the store (StoreInternalID data element)
• The name of the Company (CompanyName data element)
• The address of the store (LocationAddress data element)

Error Handling

If any messages of type E(rror), A(bort) or X (EXception) occur no message is sent. In case of mapping errors, no message is sent out. Only exceptions are given in case of errors in the framework. Errors during outbound mapping are collected in the error table of the service mapping tool.

Notes on SAP Implementation

In the SAP ERP back-end system note the following.

• The data for the store are collected via function modules and methods.
• The generated proxy is the ABAP class CO_WSIT_STORE_RDMMNTRQB.
• The proxy data type used for the outgoing request  message is WSIT_STORE_RETAIL_DEMAND_MANA6.

Enhancements

The Business Add-In (BAdI) Def: RDM_SE_STORE_OUTBOUND Business Add-In (BAdI) is available for this service operation. This BAdI offers the BAdI interface IF_RDM_SE_STORE_OUTBOUND with the method OUTBOUND_PROCESSING. This method is called during outbound data mapping and can be used to overwrite the existing mapping or to map additional data if new elements were added to the message. The internal communication structure WSIT_STORE_RETAIL_DEMAND_MANA6 is used as structure of the import parameter of the OUTBOUND_PROCESSING method and can be enhanced by new fields in a customer SAP ERP back-end system.
