The Read Operational Bank Contract Management Unit synchronous operation reads the data of a specified operational bank contract management unit.

To read the data from an operational bank contract management unit the following information is required.

• An identifier for the operational bank contract management unit (OperationalBankContractManagementUnitID element).

The response contains the following information: 

• The identifier for the operational bank contract management unit (OperationalBankContractManagementUnitID element) as confirmation together with its corresponding validity period (ValidityPeriod element)
• The name and description of the operational bank contract management unit (Name and Description elements) with a validity period for the description (ValidityPeriod element)
• Further attributes such as the bank country code (BankCountryCode element) and an identifier for the bank in a clearing system (BankRoutingID element) with a validity period for the bank routing identifier (ValidityPeriod element).

The response message also contains a Log that includes any error messages.

Note

The functional unit used by a specific bank account contract can be obtained from the read operation for that type of bank account contract. (Bank account contract includes current account contract, deposit account contract and loan contract). For example the identifier for the functional unit used by a specific deposit account contract is returned by the Read Deposit Account Contract Basic Data operation as the OrganizationalCentreID element.

For every error from validation, mapping and API Adapter phases, appropriate error messages (one main error message followed by other related messages) are often helpful in diagnosing and correcting the error.

The following main error messages are recorded in the Log  of the response message:

• DCE.VME fs_fnd_sbl_mv_mmsg 003 (Mapping error occurred outbound)
• FOE.SVE fs_fnd_sbl_val e004  (Element &1 or &2 must be provided)
• FOE.SVE fs_fnd_sbl_val e008  (Invalid value &1 for &2)
• FOE.SVE fs_fnd_sbl_val e009  (At least one of the elements &1 and &2 must be provided for &3)
• FOE.SVE fs_fnd_sbl_val e012  (Value for element &1 may only be &2 characters long)
• FOE.SVE fs_fnd_sbl_val e017  (Either &1 or &2 must be provided, not a combination thereof)
• FOE.SVE fs_fnd_sbl_mv_mmsg 001 (Validation error occurred inbound)
• PRE.IDE fs_fdn_org_api_sin 002 (Operational Bank Contract Management Unit &1 is inconsistent)
