Definition

Current Account Management is a scenario that contains enterprise services for managing current account contracts at a bank. Current Account Management is a scenario that highlights the process components and enterprise services offered by SAP for various processes related to the management of current account contracts (checking accounts). The assumption is that an external (non-SAP) application is using certain process components and the services provided therewith. An example of this could be an online banking application used by bank customers, or a front end application used by bank clerks in a bank’s middle/back office, or a software layer that enables the communication with services.
