Definition

The Cancel Internal Request service operation is a request to cancel or confirm the cancellation of an internal request (shopping cart). This action deletes shopping carts that have not already been ordered.

Business Context and Use

Purchasers can use the Cancel Internal Request   inbound service operation to delete an internal request (shopping cart).

Error Handling

Messages can be rejected for either technical or business reasons. The log node in the response message signature provides detailed information about why messages have been rejected.

Other Constraints

• Shopping carts that have not yet been ordered can be canceled. See also Release Internal Request .
• Either the Internal Request ID and its ChangeStateID   or the complete internal request must be submitted with the cancel request:
• If the Internal Request ID and its ChangeStateID  are submitted, a shopping cart is canceled if the ChangeStateId contains the same value as the header field Changed at in the SRM system.
• If the complete internal request is submitted, it will be compared with the corresponding shopping cart and canceled if they are the same.
• ChangeStateID is leading: If both the ChangeStateID and the complete signature are submitted, only the ChangeStateID is evaluated and the signature is not compared.
