The Learning Product business object enables the creation and management of learning opportunities offered by a certain institution or company. Learning Products can be for example, courses, virtual classrooms or collaborative activities offered by a learning service provider or third-level institution.
Module offering (generalization in Student Lifecycle Management)
Learning products can be published in catalogs so that learners see them. A learning product is uniquely identified in a company or an institution by means of an identification number and a description. Each learning product has a corresponding business object Academic Course Module , which determines the content of the learning product. They also have a learning registration specification, which controls the registration to a learning product.

The business object Academic Course Module becomes a Learning Product when a registration specification is available for it.
The service operations of this object are part of IS-PS-CA 604. Customers must also activate the industry business function ISHERCM_ESOA from the industry business function set CAMPUS_MANAGEMENT.
