Transportation lanes are relationships between two locations, two transportation zones, or a combination of locations and transportation zones that express the direct reachability of the locations, or of all locations within the zones for a specific means of transport. Transportation lanes are used during the planning of distribution and procurement between different locations. Products can only be procured if a valid transportation lane between the locations exists.
You can use the Read Transportation Lane _V1 inbound operation to find out if transportation lanes between two specified locations exist.
The Read Transportation Lane _V1 inbound operation reads a transportation lane between two specified locations. The transportation lane can be specified by one of the following sets of elements:
This inbound operation returns all transportation lanes between the given locations with all attributes, if a transporation lane exists.
This inbound operation uses external IDs from SAP ERP for locations and materials; the SAP APO internal IDs are used as internal IDs.
This operation belongs to the Manage Transportation Lane In service interface.
