You can use the Cancel Demand Forecasts inbound operation to delete a demand forecast for multiple location products.
You can use the Cancel Demand Forecast inbound operation to delete a demand forecast for a single location product. See also Manage Service Part Demand Forecast In and Query Service Part Demand Forecast In service interfaces.
When you cancel demand forecasts for multiple location products, all of their key figure values and time series are deleted in the back-end system. The Cancel Demand Forecasts request message accepts a demand forecast ID as input. If the ID is not known, the following key characterisic information may be used instead:
Note that the same input is required for each location product for which the demand forecast is to be deleted. Also note that all of the above-listed information must be provided if the demand forecast ID is not known. Wildcards are not accepted in the request message. You can use the Find Demand Forecast by Elements inbound operation to find the correct demand forecast ID.
If successful, the operation returns a confirmation message that includes the ID of the demand forecast and all key input data (per request message list above). If the operation is unsuccessful, no demand forecast is deleted in the back-end, and the operation returns an error message in the log.
See the documentation for error handling in Create Demand Forecasts inbound operation.
The BAdI for ESA-Service Demand Forecasts Cancel (/SAPAPO/SE_SPP_DFSCANRC) Business Add-In (BAdI) is available for this operation.
