A service part order history consists of historical data derived from a business document item such as a sales order item, a sales order schedule line, or a stock transfer order schedule line. It provides the data basis at the most detailed level for creating service parts demand histories. You can use the Find Service Part Order History by Elements inbound operation to find the sales order history for a specific location product by using elements such as location, product, and time as search criteria.

In both cases, you have split up the service parts planning into two or more service parts planning environments, which are linked. One environment, the SPP owner , is the SAP system that contains all the relevant master data for SPP, along with most of the SPP transactions, and also the sales order history of the service parts. The other environment, the SPP processor , is an external, non-SAP system used for planning activities, using custom-defined algorithms.
The Respond Service Part Order History by Elements Query outbound operation returns the Service Part Order History for the selection requested by the Find Service Part Order History by Elements inbound operation.

If successful, the operation returns the aggregated order history in time series format (that is, includes corresponding key figures and time periods), along with a log. If no matching order histories are found, no order histories are returned, and the response message returns a log with error details.

The Find Service Part Order History by Elements inbound operation supports Forward Error Handling . Errors of the error categories DCE (Determination and Conversion Error) and PRE (Processing Error) may occur.
If you want to use the Find Service Part Order History by Elements inbound operation, you can use an SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (BI) system as a back-end system to retrieve history data of sales orders for Service Parts Planning. The service part order history is the captured sales history of service parts, which is stored in the DataStore object 9ARAWTST.
The order history for the specified location products must have been created by SPP Capture or Manage Demand processes in the back-end system. You must configure your SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (BI) system in such a way that the DataStore object 9ARAWTST captures the sales history along with the standard 9ARAWDAT DataStore object.
The Service Parts Planning (SCM-APO-SPP) application component must be installed and correctly configured with regard to SPP BI Capture Demand (in other words, TDL configuration as described in the SPP online help).
This operation uses the ServicePartPlanningDemandGroupCode data type. For this data type, you can use the SAP standard codes 1 to 4. In addition, you can define your own codes in namespaces 50 to 99. You can assign codes to demand categories in Customizing for Advanced Planning and Optimization under Enterprise Services -> Service Parts Planning -> Service Part Order History -> Assign Codes to Demand Categories .
